πŸ™‹πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ Answering your burning questions ❓

Hey!

I am so excited for all of the teachers who have already signed up for the Educator's Guide to Dyslexia, but I know some of you have questions.

If you're a parent, send me your questions about Discovering Dyslexia, too! So far it's only been the teachers who have asked me questions about the courses this week, so here are the answers to the most common questions.

πŸ‘©πŸ»β€πŸ«IπŸŽ“ Is there a certificate for hours completed?

Yes! There are 4.5 hours of instructional videos and a certificate at the end that lists the hours so you may be able to use towards your professional development hours, depending on your school/state/district policies.

⏲ Can I do this at my own pace?

Absolutely! All videos are ready to watch on your own time! Like to binge-watch, like me? Go for it! Need time to process? No problem, take your time!

πŸŽ™What if I'm too busy to watch the learning videos?

That's what the private podcast is for! Listen on the go, then go take a peek at the visuals later.

πŸ’» How do I pick my free workshop?

Register for the Educator's Guide to Dyslexia and I'll personally send you an email to get your selection and add it to your Teachable platform where you are taking your course.

πŸ™‹πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ What if I have questions during the course and need support?

Use the comment boxes throughout the course to ask questions and receive written and/or video recorded responses from me. Plus, if you choose the VIP option, you get a full hour of 1-on-1 time with me!

πŸ’΅ What if I can't afford $197 today?

There is a payment plan option of $99 x 2 (once now and another payment next month).

❓Why should I join now?

  • You get a $37 workshop of your choice for FREE if you join by Thurs, Oct. 17
  • You get lifetime access, which means you get all the new stuff I add later, too! Just last week I added another training, so last year's cohort got new bonuses added to their course!!
  • The cost will go up next year since my cost for health insurance is going up.

What do I get?

  1. 5 Modules: understanding dyslexia and the formal assessments, accommodations, IEPs & 504s, quality instructional practices, and educational options for dyslexia support.
  2. Private Podcast to listen on the go when you don't have time to sit at a computer
  3. Your choice of a free workshop. No promo code needed, I'll personally email you to get your selection and add it to your course platform
  4. Q&A within the course with chat boxes and video responses
  5. Bonus: Dyslexia in schools mini-course
  6. Resources throughout the course that align to each module
